Bethany Osborne, holds a PhD in Adult Education and Community Development , from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto, Canada. Her research focuses on violence and learning; memory, trauma and resistance and the arts and resistance. Her background is in community development using arts based approaches to community engagement. She facilitates art workshops and performance for and with diverse communities. Bethany has been working with the community of form er political prisoners from Iran living in Toronto since 2006.
